Think balance!

What is Alpenliebe-Horsemanship

I’m Verena Bragg, a horse trainer from Austria, known for the Alps, which inspired my name. Hiking the mountains is a very straining but rewarding journey. You choose a path and set yourself a trail and come across some obstacles you did not plan for, but you came prepared and venture on. If you go through the long hike up and reach the top, it fills you with a sense of fulfillment and belonging. While this describes what mountain love is, this also stands very much true for horse riding. So the name:

Alpenliebe = Love for the Alps

is an homage to a journey that you plan to venture on. My trail is different than some other trainers, but I can always see the goal up ahead.

I focus on proper horsemanship rather than just breaking horses. My goal is to train each horse according to their age and mindset. With experience in both English Dressage and Western riding, I help every horse perform at their best, both physically and mentally. I have studied horses’ body structures and hoof mechanics, know how to fit your saddle to the best comfort to your horse, and I’m happy to teach you!
